Your original practice task

Sketch a simpler timetable screen on paper. Ask a willing friend to find tomorrow’s first class without help. Observe where they hesitate, then revise the sketch.

Reflect before enrolling

Are you interested in how people use a product, beyond how the screen looks? Can you explain a design change using an observation?

Keep a useful record

Save the course to My space, then write down what interested you and what you still need to check. Trying a task is a starting point for exploration; it is not an aptitude diagnosis or a guarantee of progress. If the first attempt is difficult, inspect the prerequisites and try a smaller example before deciding.
